What is the passing score for LASD physical test? ›

The minimum passing score is a total of 160 points. It is required that the applicant score 40 points or more in each assessment event. Push-ups and sit-ups have a two-minute time limit. You must be successful in each event of the P.A.T. in order to continue in the hiring process.

The hiring process averages between 6-9 months.

An inmate/arrestee may make only one free phone call during booking. Inmates are not permitted to receive calls or messages, but may make unlimited calls during program hours by using a calling card purchased either through MCJ's commissary or through an authorized program.

The passing standard is a scale score of 600; therefore, any score of 600 or higher is a passing score, and any score below 600 is a failing score. It is also scoring greater than 60 in each individual event, as this is estimated to be passing per event. Anything below is considered “at-risk”. Shooting for a minimum of 80 points and above per event is your best bet, but keep in mind that if you only hit 80 points per event you would only score a 480.
